Kyleigh’s experience with equipment started in the fields of her family farm. From hauling tractors to fields to loading produce with a forklift, she learned early how to respect machinery and keep things moving. Farming taught her that every job, big or small, matters—and it should be done with care.

Kyleigh also spent time learning the business side of agriculture. Watching over her grandmother’s shoulder as she tended to the farm’s books sparked a lifelong interest in accounting and operations—a path that led her to Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She spent 12 years in public accounting, specializing in construction, nonprofit and government entities, gaining deep expertise in job costing, financial controls, and operational decision-making.

After moving to Texas, Kyleigh and her husband, Wes, combined their strengths to form Ridge Rock Excavation. Wes brings 25 years of experience in the heavy equipment rental industry, with hands-on knowledge of equipment performance and jobsite demands. Together, they deliver trenching and excavation services with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and clear communication.

Today, Kyleigh serves as majority owner and oversees daily operations and financial decisions, ensuring every project reflects the same values that shaped her upbringing—hard work, and pride in a job well done, all with Southern Hospitality.
